Highfield Hall

From start to finish it was just amazing! The team went above and beyond they sorted out minor mishaps! Fabulous wish we could do it all again!

Love the venue, very beautiful - but communication from the staff is significantly lacking and emails would remain unanswered for days and weeks. 12 out of the 16 bedrooms had problems, ranging from: no toilet paper (in several of them), peeling wallpaper, windows that wouldn’t close, chewing gum on bed sheets, toilets that did not flush and housekeeping walking in the room before checkout whilst guests were on the toilet - and more! Manager was informed of the room problems the following day and no follow up/explanation or apology has occurred. The beer ran out during the wedding and took a long time for more to come back on, 2 pumps were completely out of use. Father of the Bride wanted to buy more Prosecco as there was not enough, she refused and walked away. Staff member refused to clean up a spill because they were too busy and refused to give a guest a mop to clean it up themselves - leaving the floor wet and slippery. Wedding day itself was lovely for the bride and groom, but from 9:30am the following day was met with a barrage of problems. Problems caused by the venue staff and seriously impacting the happiness of the occasion.

What a venue! Absolutely perfect and beautiful could not of asked for a better day. staff and food were so nice. Thankyou all so much, would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding.

My grandson and I slept over while going to a Braai in Wales. It was fantastic, the room was comfortable and spotless. But mostly we were treated so well.the staff. Our bags were carried, easy to talk to and they went the extra mile. We're staying with you again next month. I won't be going anywhere else x Thank you so much for having us x

A group of us went to view this venue with my daughter as a potential venue for her wedding. Lily showed us around, she was very kind, helpful and informative. We had loads of questions that she answered politely and succinctly, nothing was too much trouble. Overall she was a wonderful pleasant and jolly host. The venue was very reasonably priced and suited all our needs

Really lovely wedding venue. Plenty of room for everyone. The grounds are beautiful and really well maintained. The rooms are spacious and spotless comfortable and pleasant. The staff are all welcoming and helpful.
