We had our wedding on July 2024. 😍 When we saw Hodsock Priory, we just knew it would be the perfect fit for us. The lake view, gardens, house, on-site accommodation—everything is there. The staff were incredible. 🎉 The transactions and communication were so efficient that it felt like communicating with a chatbot—fast responses, even during late hours! Our event manager, Shannon, was beyond amazing. 🥹 We are still speechless at how beautifully she made our day the most amazing day of our lives and how she made us calm and relaxed throughout the process. 🥹❤️ It's truly beyond us how these people can do what they do. Hodsock Priory will always be special to us, and it exceeded our expectations. 🥹 Everything was smooth, and the staff made sure we never had to worry. All our tiny requests were granted, and they made everything possible for us. They deserve all the stars in the world! Amazing, amazing, amazing! First of all, the venue speaks for itself, it’s truly beautiful and we fell in love with it from the moment we viewed it! During the preparation the only issue we had were some price increases to the food menu, but once I started chatting with Jess our wedding coordinator she helped us to figure out how to make things work for our budget without feeling like we were sacrificing anything important. 6 months before is when communication really increases and you start to see how special this venue and its team really are. We had a lovely night at the menu tasting and when we had our final planning meeting we spent the afternoon making sure everything was just how we would like - I’m such a planner and a clock watcher and Jess made us feel like we could let go of control and just enjoy every moment. On the morning of the wedding myself, my mum and my bridesmaids had the continental breakfast and spent time in the ‘bridal’ room and my husband and his groomsman and my dad spent time in the clubhouse where they had bacon sandwiches. The honeymoon suite made the perfect room for pictures in my dress and doing ‘reveals’ with my bridesmaids and dad. Again, Jess was amazing, helping us all to stay on time (ish…) and offering help to my mum when I was getting changed and having pictures in my wedding dress in the huge bath (would recommend doing this!) Our ceremony was perfect and we even got outside to do our pictures and a confetti shot, the weather was super windy but it made for some fab pics and the blossoms looked beautiful which was one of the reasons we booked for April! The wedding breakfast was a real highlight, we decided against canapès, our starter was a tapas plate, main was Sausage and Mash with caramelised onion gravy which went down a treat (we still have people talking about it now!) and we went for a trio of desserts too - perfect for the indecisive person that I am! The children’s menu also went down well with our flower girl and page boy. The evening was brilliant as the room changes from day to night and the lighting gives all the party vibes. The venue is ideal in the sense that there is always somewhere to go and chat when you’re not on the dance floor and the bar staff were brilliant at keeping mine and my husbands drinks topped up and serving our friends and family super quickly. The night flew by and everyone had a fantastic time. We finished off our day with our nearest and dearest in the Library where we shared a charcuterie board and some drinks, it was the most lovely end to the day and I’d really recommend doing this. All of the rooms are to a beautiful standard and the breakfast the next day was to the same standard as the wedding menu. We truly didn’t want to leave and plan to go back and visit whenever we can. Outstanding venue, from the very start of planning to the actual day the team at Hodsock are an absolute dream to work with. They go above and beyond to accommodate every little detail, which made the day so special. I can’t recommend them highly enough, several of our guest have told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Many thanks again to whole team for the most magical day!

From the first day we set eyes on this beautiful venue we knew it was the one. All the staff are amazing at what they do and I love how easy they make the day for you. They are super organised and make sure everything runs smoothly on your big day. I love how they go above and beyond and provide things like a taster night before your big day for you to sample the foods. Everything really was truely amazing and I would pick Hodsock again in a heartbeat!

I remember going to view Hodsock and falling in love with straight away. The view as we were driving down the drive… WOW 🤩 My husband really wanted to get married outside after our plans had to change from getting married abroad. We were there for 5 minutes and he decided we did not have to look any further. Hodsock had everything! From the gazebo for us to have our ceremony outside, 17 beautiful aesthetic bedrooms which our family and friends admired on the day. The different places we could have photos taken and the modern but vintage feel we were looking for. Our wedding coordinator Jess was AMAZING, the whole team were brilliant. We included them all in our package and they all kindly accepted and mingled like they were apart of our wedding. If we wanted something changing, it was done. If we asked for something it was sorted, any questions were answered straight away. Honestly there aren’t enough words to describe how magical they made it for us. The wedding breakfast was delicious, we were worried about waste in the evening but weren't we wrong! There wasn’t even a single chip left. Even though we were in our wedding love bubble, we both felt so sad it was over. Roll on the 10 year anniversary we will be back to celebrate 🥂 We cannot thank Hodsock enough, it was THE best day with memories we will cherish forever.

Myself and my husband had the best wedding day. From booking a 1st viewing up until the day itself the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and you can ask them any questions. We would 10000% recommend booking this venue for your wedding, you won’t be disappointed! The venue is simply stunning with beautiful gardens for pictures inside and outside all year around. All our guests loved our wedding day as much as we did. Skye our wedding planner went above and beyond and made our planning a lot less stressful. Honestly have no complaints, our day was perfect!!

From start to finish Skye and the team helped guide us through our day at Hodsock. From ensuring our decorations were exactly as we envisioned to making sure we ran on time. Nothing was too much trouble and everything from the best angles for the photos to ensuring I had all my jewellery. The food was excellent as was the service. The bar staff were so friendly and even joined in the dancing at the end (probably a bit reluctantly - so sorry for dragging you guys in) It really was the most incredible day I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding and team helping run it.

From the minute we saw Hodsock’s magnificent Tudor gatehouse we knew this was our dream venue. The staff at hodsock made everything so easy, they were so communicative and nothing was too much trouble! Everything ran seamlessly, and I want to give the biggest shoutout to India, our event manager for all the effort she put into making our day so perfect, and for answering my 100s of emails so quickly! She truly makes every couple feel so special and just radiates warmth and kindness. From whisking us away to have a quiet moment after the ceremony, to making sure our glasses were always full of our bespoke cocktails to introducing us to the best bar team you could imagine, India was the best and we are so grateful to her❤️ speaking of the bar team, the bar manager was also so wonderful, and greeted us after our first dance with two drinks to celebrate! Our guests had the most amazing time and so many people complimented the food, the venue, the atmosphere… I’d recommend Hodsock to anyone and can’t wait for our next excuse to go and visit!
