Venue Overview
Fort la Reine Museum in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, offers a unique heritage venue for couples looking for a farm style ceremony and reception location for their wedding day. Ceremony Locations
Choose from the West Prospect Church, seating up to 60 guests, or the Ukrainian Church, seating up to 40 guests, for your ceremony. If you prefer an outdoor setting, the Fort Complex can accommodate up to 200 guests, while the Barn background and Pioneer Village can both seat up to 400 guests, respectively.
Reception Facilities
For smaller receptions of up to 50 guests, the off-season Museum Visitor Centre is an ideal space. Larger weddings can make use of an outdoor marquee tent, which can accommodate up to 400 seated guests. The venue also provides rectangular tables and large wheelchair accessible washrooms for your convenience.
