Description

Former farmhouse of the Château, this room has been renovated while retaining the charm and authenticity of the place. Decorated with exposed stone and with exceptional ceiling height, it immerses you in a timeless place for your reception. The integration of openings through three large windows connects the room to its exceptional exterior. It has a seating capacity of 170 people, extendable with the adjoining terrace. At the heart of the Château is a magnificent French garden with a majestic 200-year-old cedar. An ideal place to organize your cocktails which can accommodate 130 people seated and 300 people standing. The large terrace of the room overlooks a natural park classified Natura 2000. In this magnificent setting, the terrace offers you the privilege of carrying out part of your reception facing the scrubland. Named the hills of La Mourre, this exceptional view will seduce you.

A dream wedding in an idyllic setting

We celebrated our wedding at Chateau de Bas d'Aumelas and we couldn't be happier with our choice. This venue exceeded all our expectations and created an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the timeless charm of the chateau. The ancient stones, the vineyards and olive trees that surround it, with the majestic hill of La Moure as a backdrop, create a truly idyllic setting.

Magnificent Castle

We got married on Saturday, June 10, 2023 in this magnificent castle, appreciated by all, very authentic, full of history, combining the old and the modern, offering exceptional services allowing an extraordinary wedding. We highly recommend this place and thank Julie our wedding planner, Coup 2 Coeur Events, for finding it for us and orchestrating this event with a master's hand.

The lower castle of Aumelas was a real favorite when we were looking for a place for our wedding. It was the first one we visited after which we didn't look any further. The welcome is very friendly and the setting is magnificent! This place has a lot of character, the room, the rooms, the old stones, the greenery, the vines, the French garden, the view, the calm, everything was perfect. And the Sunday paella was excellent! Our guests were also won over.

We organized our wedding at Château Bas d'Aumelas on June 24th. The site is magnificent. We sincerely thank the entire team who accompanied us in the organization. We highly recommend the Château. We would like to thank Daisy for the brunch the next day. The entire service was of high quality.

If we had to do it again, Aude and I would return without hesitation to Château Bas d'Aumelas. We recommend this place to all couples wishing to make their wedding a more than unique moment, a magical moment! The place, the surrounding site, the welcome from the team, the advice from service providers, the wines, the tasting the next day, everything was more than perfect. A big thank you and a crazy desire to do it again, same time, same place.

We got married at Château Bas in early July 2023. Throughout the preparations, the team was attentive, available, finding solutions and adapting to our needs with kindness at all times (for example, we were able to store flowers in their cellars or have the venue to set up the ceremony a little earlier...). And that's without mentioning the venue itself, which we liked straight away, as it is so elegant and charming, with its different spaces.

Thank you, thank you, thank you… we spent an unforgettable day in your superb domain. From the first visit we fell in love with Château Bas. A magnificent and very well-appointed place, a room full of charm and authenticity without forgetting the terrace and the very well-maintained exteriors which offer numerous possibilities of configurations for the ceremony and the reception. Our guests were all charmed by the place and loved the visit of the cellars.

A sublime place

We had a lot of freedom for the decoration which was a prerequisite for us. Marine with whom we were in contact was always attentive and very accommodating. The price is in the high range of the estates in Hérault, but the quality of service, the flexibility and the beauty of the place justify it. We were able to accommodate 80 people on site between the gîtes and the tepees. The wine from the estate was imposed but it is delicious and we had many compliments on it.

Beautiful setting, excellent service

The perfect venue for our special day. The staff were consistently professional, helpful and very responsive - we arranged everything from the UK which was much appreciated. The location is beautiful, the landscaping is stunning and the buildings are well maintained. My only small comment is that I wish there were some extra amenities in the accommodations, such as glasses in each room.
