Château de Montigny-sur-Avre

We had a lovely time visiting this chateau and its vegetable gardens. We finished with a lovely home cooked meal in a beautiful park, served by very friendly staff. Many thanks to the whole team.

Great discovery. Nice park and vegetable garden. An audio guide tells you the history of the castle and the park. Very friendly welcome from the mistress of the place. A restoration from the vegetable garden is offered (reservation). Not tested but I consider it on a next visit. The castle cannot be visited (not since covid). Too bad, I would have liked to be able to visit a few rooms, but a priori, it could be possible in the months to come. Without that, it is still a great visit!

Warm welcome in a very pleasant setting. We admired the vegetable orchard and its magnificent fruits and then we were able to taste the excellent local products during lunch. Excellent sunny day. To recommend
