Crover House Hotel

From the very first time we talked through the door of Crover House Hotel we just knew! We had viewed a few places beforehand and nothing felt right. The building and grounds are stunning, the decor, vibe from all the friendly staff, value for money, delicious food and wine. Every staff member in the building simply could not do enough for us and all our guests. We had a guest who is celiac and she was absolutely singing your phrases. All day long there was food brought to her even in the late evening when the late snacks come out she had a plate of celiac friendly food brought out to her. We honestly could not think of one single thing we could complain about. A massive thank you to all at Crover house hotel for your hard work. It shines that you all enjoy your jobs and you made our special day run so smoothly.

From viewing crover house to our wedding day the team were an absolute delight to work with. Megan went above and beyond for us and made the whole day seem so effortless. We were so relaxed on the day and a huge percentage of that was because of the staff at crover. The grounds are kept so well which makes the photos so naturally beautiful, if we were to do it all again we would 1000% pick crover house every time !

We honestly cannot say enough good things about our wedding at Crover House. From the moment we viewed the room we knew this was where we would celebrate our big day. Every step of the way the wedding team were fantastic. Keeping us up to date on everything, giving advice and steering us in the right direction. The reservation team were amazing also, we had guests who had specific needs who were all really taken care of. The food was delicious, we loved our tasting meal and they didn’t disappoint on the day. The service was fantastic, so many staff available to help at a moments notice, no guests left waiting for anything. The hotel looked amazing, the bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless. We married in February and unfortunately it was raining so we never got to have pictures taken in the gardens but our photo’s inside the ballroom turned out beautifully. We had a smaller group for day 2, and again it was another wonderful day, a more relaxed day but still so much attention to detail by the staff. Our family and friends still comment on how fantastic the day was and honestly that was in large part because of everyone at Crover house. You can tell they love what they do and it shows during every moment of the day.

We had our wedding in Crover House and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went. From our first viewing, nothing was too much for everyone, from the wedding team, to the reservations team, and they always replied promptly and kindly to all of our queries. The venue is stunning, with so many different areas for photo opportunities. We were lucky enough to have our wedding outdoors, and the views of the lake from the garden was the perfect backdrop. Our guests still comment on the kindness, and amazing service from all of the staff throughout the day. Everyone was so well looked after, we really couldn’t have asked for anything more from anyone. The food was 5star! Even the breakfast the next morning was great. We really couldn’t recommend this venue more, and cannot thank the staff enough for making our day so special!!

We got married on the 15th March 2024 and could not of picked a better hotel for us. The hotel has such a welcoming and homely atmosphere, it was so enjoyable and gave us great peace of mind for the whole day. The staff are genuinely friendly and could not do enough for us or our guests. The location is idyllic and so perfect for fabulous pictures. All of our guests commented on how lovely the food was and how much they got. We cannot thank the all the staff at Crover enough for such a memorable and enjoyable day and we cannot recommend it enough for anyone considering it as a venue as you will be in the best of hands and you are guaranteed a great day. I can't recommend Crover house hotel enough! not only a picturesque venue with fantastic, helpful staff, from the wedding team to the girls on the desk and catering staff, everything was flawless, no request was too much, the attention to detail was superb 👌 Delicious food, wine, and cocktails at the wedding reception went down a treat. And liam in full flight keeping everyone entertained on arrival 😆 All are guests where delighted with the service and are all keen to visit again, and im sure you'll have some of our engaged friends book their day here too after our wedding. The wedding team took all the stress out of wedding planning, especially megan who looked after all the fine details for us. Super organised! Thank you so much and the only complaint I have is that the day went too quickly! I'd do it all again in the morning if I could. Genuinely the best day of our lives and we couldn't have asked for more. I visited Crover house without Sean while on the hunt for a wedding venue, it was our second venue to view. Instantly I knew on arrival it was where I had visualised having our big day. We went back together to set everything in stone and book our date. Since then the attention to detail from every staff member we met was impeccable. Our wedding co ordinator Megan, was an absolute gem. Nothing was too much trouble and everything went seamlessly on the day. We are still hearing from guests about how excellent the food and service was on the day. We couldn’t be happier with how things went, from booking the venue to checking out the morning after. Everything was perfect and we are so glad we chose Crover House as our wedding venue.

The level of hospitality and attentiveness displayed by the staff was truly commendable, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. Our experience at Crover House Hotel was made by the excellent staff who consistently went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Amazing location, right on Lough Sheelin and the views are breathtaking. Staff were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and always made us feel welcome.
