Seasoned Events Full Description
Seasoned have experience in working with couples on everything from the most elaborate to the most simple wedding celebrations. We believe that it is all about our couples and we love meeting and getting to know them so that we can represent their characters and desires in the food, drinks and service we produce for them on their day. We are a small, independent caterer so we offer a very personal service, often led by our managing director who wants to ensure that every couple gets their ideal day. We work with a range of fantastic venues but are also just as comfortable catering in a marquee or in someones home. We can produce a proposal for you to include everything you want for your day and are more than happy to liaise with the florists, entertainment and any other suppliers to make things easier and hassle free for you before and on the day. We can provide a great range of drinks including cocktails or even a signature drink, but if you would like to provide your own we can absolutely provide all the glassware and staff to serve this for you. For clients wanting an exceptionally high-end wedding, we can work with our Creative Director, two Michelin-starred chef Daniel Clifford from Midsummer House, to design and delivery an exceptional wedding day meal.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Every wedding has such a personal and unique style to it that every one of them are memorable. One of the most memorable weddings we did was at the Royal Exchange in London with our Creative Director, two Michelin-starred chef Daniel Clifford, it was an extremely luxurious wedding day and party. However, just as memorable was a very casual wedding with picnic hampers and rugs that we did for a couple in their own garden with a smaller number of friends and family.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Our 40 year of experience and the 75 years of combined experience with Seasoned that our senior team have. We all live and breath Seasoned and love our jobs working with great couples on their weddings

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Talk to us and every other supplier openly about what you want, there is always a way to get to your dream day and we have a ton of suggestions and ideas if you just give us a steer on what is important to you both.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A couple that were known well among their friends and family as being hopeless at keeping house plants alive gave individual, mini cactus plants to each guest with a name tag planted in it as their name card on the table. They explained that they thought that the plants were safer with their guests than with them.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We love to talk to our couples to get a real sense of what they are looking for, what is important to them and what food they love. Once we have that detail we will put together a proposal as a starting point and then discuss with them further any changes they might want. We will arrange a tasting so that the couple can sample our food, see how we serve it and talk about anything else we can do to support making their day a perfect one. We then introduce our event manager who will be with them on the day running the event. The will arrange a meet the couple at least once but usually a couple of times at the wedding venue to walk through the day and check that we have everything planned exactly as the couple would like. Before the day we produce a "function sheet" which has all the details, timings, menus, dietaries and information about the day that we check with the couple is absolutely as they want it.
