From small and intimate affairs with beautiful bouquets and buttonholes to extravagant parties with arches and large scale installations, I just love creating wedding flowers. I am award-winning and very proud of my reputation for excellent customer service. I have simple, affordable wedding packages available and also offer a fully bespoke design service. I can travel anywhere in Yorkshire and am very happy to work closely with wedding planners and venue dressers. My bespoke minimum spend is £600 with limited packages available below this minimum.

Anne-Marie was our florist back in May and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She was easy to get on with and was clearly so knowledgeable about what would work best for my floral vision. Throughout she was so easy to work with, quick to reply to emails, met with me at the venue to walk through the larger installation plans and was happy to work with our budget. Our florals on the day were absolutely incredible, so much more than I could have imagined. She is so talented & puts in her all.

Book your florist early! I turn down lots of couples asking for dates where I am already booked.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Personalised favours - different for every single guest and clearly a lot of thought went into them

Describe your typical process with a couple.

If I am free for your date, and my guide prices suit your budget I will have a zoom or phone chat to find out more about your wedding flower ideas. I then prepare a quote (or estimate if it’s more than 2 years in advance). If you’d like to book me, a non-refundable reservation fee secures your date.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

Not into a bouquet, but the most interesting request was for a bouquet for the groom as well as the bride. Tentatively requested by the couple and wholeheartedly provided by me! One of the best requests I’ve ever had.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

Rosemary is a lovely addition as it signifies remembrance of lost love ones. Myrtle foliage signifies love, fidelity and courage and has long been used in royal wedding flowers.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

Garden roses, sweet peas and honeysuckle are my dream wedding flowers. Scent is so important to your memories and there is nothing sweeter than the fruity scent of garden roses and the heady aroma of sweet peas and honeysuckle. Every time you catch a glimpse of that scent, you’ll be transported back to your special day.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Take them home, give them to your guests. Perhaps have a plan for preservation of part of your bouquet- in resin as a paperweight or dried and pressed in a frame. Be aware that preservation means handing over your bouquet very shortly after you’re married as it’s needed at its freshest.
