Our prices are calculated based on how long you would like us to play for, and whether you choose the String Duo (two musicians) or String Quartet (four musicians). Check out our packages for our most popular options, or just get in touch if you're after something different. We're happy to play for any part of your wedding celebrations.

Arco String Quartet offers pop, classical, film music, Bollywood, and jazz to give you the music you love. Their service is professional from start to finish, with great music and great service rolled into one. The quartet brings together many years' experience and high musical standards to form a vibrant music group that will help create the special atmosphere for your big day.
Arco can provide music as your guests arrive and during the ceremony to create a special and relaxed atmosphere. After the ceremony they can move with you to your reception to entertain you and your guests with a mixture of music picked by you. They have many well-known pieces such as the Game of Thrones theme, 'It Must Be Love', Pachelbel's Canon in D and many more.
Arco are flexible and adaptable and they like to tailor their music to suit you and your guests and give you exactly what you want on your big day. Arco also offer a duo for smaller spaces and tighter budgets.

What is your most memorable wedding?
There are a lot of contenders, including a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding and a beautiful snowy wedding in Northumberland, but for me the most memorable is playing on HMS Trincomalee in Hartlepool. It's the oldest warship still afloat anywhere in the world, which is pretty special. It's not without its challenges - low ceilings, steep stairways, and a chilly wind at times - but they're more than made up for by the feeling of the ship and the uniqueness of the venue.
What about your business are you most proud of?
We have won many awards over the years, including the North of England Wedding Award for Outstanding Customer Service. The Award is voted for by couple's who've used your service, so it was a real testament to our service that we were voted the winners.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take it slow - don't feel you have to rush through everything as soon as you're engaged. Take your time and organise things one step at a time.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One couple had their dog carry the rings down the aisle in a pouch on his collar. It was clearly so special to them as the dog was a real part of their family.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When couples contact us we send more information about our service, the cost, the music we play, etc. You then have chance to ask any questions, talk to us about your timings and so on. Once you're happy that you want to go ahead you complete our booking form and pay a deposit to book us. We send a confirmation email to confirm the booking. Later on, we get in touch with you about 6 - 8 weeks before the wedding to confirm your music choices. You're welcome to sort those out with us earlier though if you're really organised!
What makes a romantic first dance?
Something that is special to the couple themselves. It doesn't matter what song it is - if it means something to you it's the right song.
