The Surrey Pianist Full Description
Jonathan offers wedding packages from playing piano during the ceremony to playing at the reception, or during the wedding breakfast. You can choose which of these you would like. Depending on the venue, the ceremony can include relaxing piano music played whilst guests arrive. Then, there are three main areas for music: the bridal entrance, signing of the register, and music as the couple exit. The music is your choice, and Jonathan can give insights to help. The Reception is an ideal time to have some piano in the background to add to the atmosphere. Music played includes well known songs from film, musicals, jazz and pop, adapting to the acoustics of the venue. During the wedding breakfast, piano music can provide a welcome, but subtle background, and Jonathan has a wide repertoire to offer. Also, he is happy to take requests and incorporate your choices into the playing. Please get in touch if you have any questions, and for more details.

Played so beautifully.
Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did playing for hours at our wedding. You kept our guests entertained while we were away for photos, and our wedding breakfast was enhanced by hearing snatches of some of our favourite songs, played so beautifully. Thank you also for learning our requests quite last minute ! The care and professionalism you showed us was very much appreciated.

Professional Attitude.
Jonathan recently played at our friend's wedding in Hurley, Berkshire. As we all filed out of the library after the ceremony, Jonathan was there in the drawing room, playing piano for the happy couple. He played all our favourites and many requests as well. We were all impressed by his professional attitude, calm approach and musical ability. Would we recommend him ? Absolutely!

What is your most memorable wedding?

Sarah & Marc's civil ceremony & reception at Littleton Park House, a historic house on the Shepperton film Studio site. It was owned by The Who, and I was playing the lovely Yamaha grand piano. The couple requested "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" for the Register signing & "Ain't Nobody" by Chaka Khan for the exit music. Altogether a lovely day.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am happy to have provided requested music for different occasions.
