What is your most memorable wedding?

Each wedding is so very different, and that's why I love my job, no two are the same but all create wonderful moments to treasure.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Calm Passionate Inclusive Fun Creative

What about your business are you most proud of?

I'm passionate about creating a ceremony that will be the talk of your wedding. I am proud that yours will be the best ceremony anyone has been to.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

I firmly believe in having the day that you want to create, and if that doesn't fit into a traditional style then that's ok. It's your day, and you have so many choices

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A ring warming ceremony is a beautiful way for your guests to be play an active role in your wedding celebrations. Your wedding bands are passed through to your family and friends, they hold them and pass on good luck and love, so that when your bands are returned they are warm and full of love.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I hold an initial meeting with the couple to explain what I can offer, and how. I hear about what their plans and ideas are for their wedding - how they want it to feel, what and who is important to them. I will then hold that date for seven days, whilst the couple take their time to decide if I am the Celebrant for them. To book the date the couple pay a deposit, and sign my booking form. I send my love story questionnaire, for the couple to fill in, this gives me an understanding on their shared values, beliefs and highlights from their journey together, so far, from this I can begin to craft a ceremony I will meet with the couple three months before their wedding to discuss their ceremony in detail, music, readings, who, what, where and when, so that we have have a full discussion of each detail of the ceremony I can talk them through the vow writing, and mini ceremonies we can include, such as ring warming or unity candle. Using all of this information I write the ceremony, and support the couple in writing their vows or promises to one another. The couple see the main body of their ceremony, to approve I will hold additional meetings, for vow writing support, if necessary I can source poems and readings, if required I will only book one wedding per day, so the couple can feel confident that they have my full attention and time, on their special day I arrive at the venue at least an 90 minutes before the ceremony, will check everything is in place, and speak to the couple. I will officiate and lead the ceremony

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

I can't guarantee a stress-free wedding, but I can promise a beautiful ceremony that everyone will talk about.

What do you love most about your job?

Plan the day that you want, there are are so many options and choices available to make your wedding beautifully you.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

My favourite moment at the wedding is the vows, when the promises to each other are shared. They can be funny, serious or heartfelt and often prompt a tear, or two.
