FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

It's too hard to pick one. The most memorable parts of weddings for me is when you can see the personalities of the couple shine through, from the venue to the food, and when you really feel the emotion between the couple and how much love is there. That's why I love being a part of people's big day!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Delicate, botanical, painterly, natural and romantic

What about your business are you most proud of?

The beginning! It's incredibly daunting starting from scratch but I love what I do and I love being able to be a part of such an important day for people.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Remeber your budget and don't let seeing lots of hugely expensive real wedding pictures make you feel like your day won't be as special because you haven't got doves and a flower wall. Also start a timeline around 12 months ahead to try and eliminate that stress!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

A bride asked for a small illustration of a robin on their invitations and on parts of their on the day stationery in memory of her fiances father who passed away. It's lovely to be able to help people bring personal touches to a wedding especially in a physical form.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

With a the bespoke design service I initially have a phone consulation with the couple. I would find out the details about their wedding such as venue, colour scheme and decorations, as well as numbers and budget, and any initial ideas they may have. From here I would create a mood board and some rough ideas. The couple would review my ideas and I would take their preferences forward into final designs. There will be different levels of contact depending on the couple's ideas, and whether they would like any extra details, generally this is done via email. When all designs are completed they will be printed and lovingly packaged, then sent on to their couple. With a customisable design an inital consulation is done via email, this would include what deisgn the couple are interested in, whether they would like to make any changes and turn it into a semi-customisable design, and guest numbers. I would make the changes to the wording on the designs and send them to the couple for their approval before they and printed and delivered.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

I think the main invitation is the most important. It is often the biggest so it makes the most impact, and because you don't have to display lots of information on the front you have a lot more flexibility in it's design. It's also the piece guests tend to keep, from experience.

What is your best seller?

Bespoke design is my most popular service, it is a great way to put your stamp on your invitations and set the tone for the wedding day as your imagination is the limit! It is also great if you want to have the same designs flow into your on the day stationery such as menus and table plans.

What is the most innovative delivery method you have come across?

I'm sorry to say I haven't come across a better delivery method than your reliable couriered delivery!

How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?

I love to add the small details, I think this really adds romance. Things like wax seals on envelopes, or ribbon to tie and invitation suite together really takes stationery to another level.
