Ellenborough Park

We would like to thank you most sincerely for making sure everything was absolutely perfect for our Wedding on May 1st 2023. The venue was stunning (even in the drizzle), the actual room looked amazing with the flowers and furniture, the staff throughout the hotel were courteous, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was absolutely delicious. The canapés were to die for and the roast beef was so succulent and tender. Fantastic choices! From our first meeting I was confident that you would deliver everything possible to make this a memorable day for us and we were not disappointed. Your kindness, attention to detail and genuine desire to host an unforgettable day were evident and very much appreciated. We could not have chosen a better venue. Ellenborough Park is a stunning hotel that delivers the very best and we cannot thank Lisa and her whole team enough for making our day so very special.

I am a close up/wedding magician, I have had the pleasure of performing at Ellenborough Park on several occasions. The venue really does have a wow factor! All the staff are incredibly friendly, efficient, and very professional. I highly recommend Ellenborough Park.

Ellenborough Park is quite honestly the most beautiful picturesque venue, with such character! To add to this, the Ellenborough Park team are extremely welcoming and helpful making every visit to Ellenborough an absolute pleasure!

We all just wanted to thank you personally and the fantastic team (special thanks to Liam too please) for assisting us so wonderfully with the wedding. You were all brilliant and so helpful and accommodating and really insured that we had a spectacular day. All our guests were so impressed too with the hotel, the staff and grounds - it was perfect! We went and viewed 6 venues all together, from barns to manor houses. For us, Ellenborough Park stood out from the rest the minute we drove down the driveway. The building oozes elegance and class, whilst the surroundings are breathtaking. The moment we looked around and saw all the incredible original features of the building, including the beautiful chapel, we were sold. Once we had sat down with Liz, the options available were great, they really do try and accommodate you as best they can. On the day, Ryan and his team were outstanding, we had no idea they were there and they did everything they could to make our day special. We really couldn't have asked for a better venue and we'd recommenced Ellenborough Park to any couple.

It was perfect and we've had such a wonderful experience going forward with the planning, a real highlight being the private menu tasting which was not offered at any other venue we visited. In fact most venues had multiples couples crammed into one room, so it was a real delight being shown to a private room where we went on to have the most delicious food. We also appreciate how accommodating you've been throughout this whole process and how easy you've been to get hold of. You certainly made the venue side of things delightfully straightforward. I also want to say how reasonable the package is and its obvious why Ellenborough won Gloucestershire venue of the year award recently. I would like to extend a very big and gushing thank you to Ryan who was nothing short of amazing on the day and also at our menu tasting. He was patient, helpful, kind and very efficient. Nothing was too much for him and I know it must have been a tiring day. I also want to add how polite and friendly the porters and reception team are, I didn't catch the porters name but he had remembered us from the day before and I was really touched that he asked how the wedding went. If you could pass my thanks on to the porter team and the reception team for being so friendly and hospitable whenever we came for a meeting and for the lovely note they left in our room the night of the wedding, it would be much appreciated. Lastly, I know there will be many more weddings at Ellenborough but ours was a day we'll never forget and a big part of that is down to how magical Ellenborough is as a place and how wonderful the staff are.

The team at Ellenborough Park make planning a wedding a joy - our wedding coordinator provided excellent support in organising every aspect in the months leading up to the big day. On the day itself we were confident that every detail had been thought of and taken care of, and that was proven when the whole event went off without a hitch, from the decorations to the coordination of suppliers to the catering. The team looked after us brilliantly and we were able to enjoy every second of our day with our guests!
