A celebratory atmosphere. All highly recommended!

From our first approach Jenny and the hospitality team were friendly, patient and professional as we shaped our wedding plans. They were willing to see us on site to discuss matters to do with timing, menu, decor and the arrangement of rooms. The actual occasion proved happy and relaxed and all the preparation proved well worthwhile as the plans came together with welcoming decor, a welcoming team, and food that satisfied all ages, tastes and personal needs.

The venue for our dream autumnal wedding.

We had a great experience with Kingston Maurward who were the venue for our dream autumnal wedding. Danielle and Natasha were our main contacts and were knowledgeable and professional at all times. Nothing was too much to ask and every little detail was done to absolute perfection. Everyone was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our day was magical.

A brilliant place to have a wedding . A beautiful house and the grounds are stunning. We had a three course meal in the day which was delicious, beautifully presented & so many people said the food was amazing & the service. The staff go above and beyond to make your day so perfect. People say weddings can be stressful but honestly they took that stress away and not once did I feel that way. Constantly keeping in contact with me from start to finish for over a year. Our day was magical.

I think the question is really where ISN'T a great photo spot at our venue? The gardens have so many hidden nooks for those intimate shots that make the day so special, as well as the gorgeous lake in the background - perfect for group shots.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Kingston Maurward?

While we haven't had any in the modern day, we are featured in the Thomas Hardy novel 'Tess of the D'Ubervilles' as he actually grew up here. We also had a visit from King George III!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our chef's Salmon Blini is divine, although the mini Yorkshire puddings with creamed horseradish and seared sirloin is also beautiful.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Donut walls and sweet carts are a must, to give you that last minute sugar kick at the end of the day.
