The best day of our lives!

Thank you so much to the team at Lapstone especially Emily our co-ordinator, for ensuring we had the most beautiful and magical day that went without a hitch! The catering team were great as I am coeliac and they accommodated by making all food gluten free. Nobody knew it was GF and we had many compliments on how great it was. The venue itself has so many beautiful locations inside and out where photos can be taken. The farmhouse and cottage were great additions, we woke up the next day to a baby deer grazing in our back garden! Thank you again for such a special day! Xxx

Best day ever!

We got married at Lapstone Barn just over a week ago. We had the wonderful Mylie as our wedding co-ordinator but we dealt with lots of the staff during our time there and they were all lovely! We booked our wedding in September so we didn’t have long until the big day. The team were so helpful and offered lots of great suggestions and check lists for us, it really kept us on track. The barn itself is stunning! To us it felt like home and so welcoming. My husband welcoming people to the venue on the day was so stress free and he said it was like inviting people into our home which I loved. The whole day was perfection and ran to time which doesn’t happen too often in events. We wish we could do it all again. Our guests had the best time, it really was a fairytale. It exceeded all of our expectations and dreams. Thank you Lapstone you were fantastic!

Can't recommend it enough!

We got married at Lapstone Barn on the 16th December in the snow and it was better than I could have imagined. I don’t think I could recommend getting married there enough. Not only is it a beautiful venue, the team were so accommodating with any requests that we had. Jo was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing and such a wonderful person to have around on such a special day. She was completely on top of everything throughout the planning of the wedding and the day which took so much stress away. It was honestly so lovely just to be told what I needed to do on the morning so I didn’t have to think. We hired the barn and the cottage the night before and the night of the wedding which worked really well and I’d definitely recommend if you are able. Both are so beautiful and those who stopped there had a great nights sleep. My mum even too guests from the wedding round to the farmhouse to show them how lovely it was. Whatever time of year, whatever the weather, it’s the perfect wedding venue.

Wish we could do it again!

We really cannot recommend Lapstone highly enough, a really attentive, friendly, helpful venue. From last minute emails to changing dietary requirements (on the day), Agi was THE most wonderful wedding coordinator we could have ever asked for! Every single person we had contact with was truly a pleasure, we had comments all day about the wonderful venue, food, staff and atmosphere of the barn. We really would do it all over again if we could!!

Wow!

Wow! My wedding day was INCREDIBLE and went like clockwork! I can't thank Kat enough for being such an amazing person to work with... planning a wedding with literally NO experience is very daunting, but she was so happy to answer all of my questions and was always happy to have a quick chat on the phone to clear up any unanswered questions! I put a lot of thought into the 'finer' details of my wedding and I definitely had a vision of how I wanted it all set up, and Kat executed it so perfectly, in fact it turned out even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! All of the staff at Lapstone were just so kind and lovely, and definitely made the day feel very stress free. I was mostly worried the venue would feel too big for my wedding of only 38 adults and a couple of kids, but when everything was set up, and everyone had arrived, it felt absolutely perfect! Kat made sure I used the whole space of the venue as well as possible, and we made the most of all the best areas! Coming send to after being born... it truly was the best day of my life! Now only a memory but I have some beautiful pictures thanks to Owen Howells Photography. I wanted a fairy 'chilled' wedding and this venue certainly provided that. Everyone absoloutely loved the wedding and a lot of people said it was the most stunning wedding they have ever attended. So bigger isn't necessarily always better! Thanks again for our special day.

Stunning!

We recently married at Lapstone Barn & had such an amazing wedding day. From our first visit to view the venue through to our actual wedding day everyone has been incredibly helpful & friendly. The barn itself is stunning for weddings in any season but as ours was an Autumn wedding the warm Cotswold stone & draped fairy lights produced a lovely cosy feel especially with the real fire lit in the gorgeous bar area. We stayed in the farmhouse the night before & the night of our wedding - the house is really comfortable with everything you could possibly need & is decorated & furnished beautifully. Thank you to all the staff who helped make our special day perfect.

Perfect venue for our perfect day

Wow where do I begin?! Lapstone was the perfect venue for our wedding. It’s a beautiful classy Cotswold venue. So warm and inviting. The food was outstanding. The hayloft for the bridal party to get ready was light & airy and the perfect space for hair & makeup, not to mention the all important morning photos! Finally the staff, in particular Mylie. I couldn’t have asked for a kinder, calm and organised coordinator. Nothing, literally nothing was too much trouble. Lapstone you have our hearts!
