Description

Family and friends will be coming from all over the world to be with you on your wedding day, and Weddings at Monks Withecombe will welcome them all. From the Tuesday before your Saturday wedding, all of us at Monks will be here to help you, to take in deliveries, deal with suppliers, and provide calming cups of tea. Would you like the groomsmen to help decorate the marquee? Would your bridesmaids like to do the flowers? Would you like to host a brunch in the marquee the day after your wedding? Play cricket, fly kites, chat and relax in a beautiful meadow? We are happy for you to take the time to make your wedding day unique and personal, filled with memories of fun and friendship. The gardens are wonderful from spring right through to the autumn - filled with colour and scent and rich with butterflies and bees. The Corn Barn is a spectacular space - perfect for a civil ceremony, or wedding breakfast, or barn dance. The Gallery is perfect for smaller weddings, while the meadows offer plenty of space for marquees (up to 400) and parking.

We recently held our wedding at this amazing venue and we couldn't have asked for a more
We recently held our wedding at this amazing venue and we couldn't have asked for a more. Simon and Nicky held our hands right through from the planning stage, to the big day itself. The venue ican cater to everyone's needs from smaller affairs through to large family weddings such as our own. Stunning views across the moors and Chagford on the doorstep with multiple pubs and hotels close by for guests to stay. We can't recommend weddings at Monks highly enough.

We had a wonderful time and Nicky and Simon really made us feel at home at Monks
We had a wonderful time and Nicky and Simon really made us feel at home at Monks. The whole venue is beautiful especially the stunning gardens. The Corn Barn was perfect for our main meal and then ceilidh and the art gallery made a great concert/chill out space. We really enjoyed the flexibility to have our own suppliers and were grateful for their help in recommending some, we were able to craft exactly what we wanted. Having access during the week before and day after let us enjoy relaxed flower arranging and bunting-hanging with our family. The Old Barn cottage was the perfect place to spend our first night as husband and wife, and having our own little place to keep a change of shoes during the day was ideal. Plus, the whole thing was such good value for money!
