With a choice of ceremony spaces, our elegant garden marquee and our passionate team we truly can make your dreams come true. Mount Edgcumbe House has three licensed rooms for civil ceremonies, with space for 2 to 120 guests plus the outdoor option of the Summer House overlooking the Earls Garden and Plymouth Sound as well as other outdoor areas in the picturesque Earl's Garden. Step out of the rear of the house into your own private courtyard and acres of private gardens, perfect for a drinks reception or a picnic on the lawn. As the day progresses our elegant garden marquee provides the perfect reception venue. Nestled in the exclusive Gardens, with enough space for up to 150 guests and the flexibility to create the reception of your dreams, it's the perfect choice for your celebrations. Mount Edgcumbe provides a truly flexible venue and you are welcome to make your own arrangements and use your own suppliers but our wedding planner will be on hand to help bring all your ideas together to create a seamless day. Or choose to hold your reception in the beautiful Orangery standing in the stunning formal gardens of the lower park. With catering supplied by the in house caterer you only need to decide on how you wish to decorate this stunning space and pick you music to celebrate your special day. Within the park grounds we have seven beautifully designed cottages and two stylish shepherds huts. These are available for you and your guests to hire and enjoy.
