Newark Castle

My friend had her small wedding in the courtyard of the castle with the castle wall/ruins as the backdrop. There is an open gazebo that worked out perfectly for their nuptials. Their wedding photos with the castle ruins in the background were amazing! Plus, the woman that works there was very helpful and she worked with my friend during a quick rehearsal the day before. Just to note, it remains open to the public since it is a public space. But all the spectators were very respectful during the wedding.

Lovely venue for a small wedding 50/60 max , excellent customer service from floss the wedding organiser, little dark inside but it adds to it, care needs to be taken with the access in and out with the old steps, My daughter and now son on law choose this venue and I can understand why it's so different great service from the staff no rush to leave after the wedding, fantastic for taking picture outside with the castle grounds and bandstand.
