Royle Forest Weddings

We got married here in September 2022. My husband and I actually booked this venue when it was simply a field and Fraser’s vision. The best decision we ever made. Fraser, Emma and the entire family made our wedding the most incredible, memorable, personalised time of our lives. Everything they did for us will never be forgotten. By far the most beautiful venue in the UK!

How do you describe in words the most perfect day of your life? To really show your appreciation and thanks to a family who literally made our whole day into the most precious memory for us to remember forever. I shall somehow try and do this justice. I remember searching endlessly for our ‘solid floor tipi venue’ - I was specific, but also thinking very practically about the unpredictability of British weather and how although I picked an early September wedding, the chances are it will rain and all my guests heels will be sinking into the muddy flooring of a tipi. No no!! We did view a couple of venues - all beautiful but nothing that gave it the ‘wow’ factor. I always heard how your suppose to just ‘know’ when you’ve found the venue, the same as when you ‘know’ you’ve found the dress, but if I’m honest I never got that with any of the venues we visited - until this one!!! I eventually found The Royle Forest. A picture of five tipis in the middle of a forest - Royle gates to welcome you - a brand new venue due to open soon. I instantly knew we’d be making another trip to view this one - this one was special. We met Fraser at the entrance, beaming from ear to ear - clearly just as excited as we were to show us around. He started of with ‘picture this..’ and described his plans of how the entrance is going to look - and by god I could picture it all, and that was just the entrance!! We parked up and continued to follow fraser through the pathway of the forest, with him showing us the areas of where the chapel will be, the lights will be, the flooring and then through to the five beauties. All empty, surrounded by grass, but stood tall in all their glory. Everything was beautiful, and I really could vision all of Fraser’s ideas. So much I actually wanted to be apart of the team, as I knew this was going to be something exciting!! We came away like two giddy kippers!! We knew this was definitely ‘the one’ and we were straight down the following open days to show the family so we could get it booked!! That’s when we met Emma and the rest of Fraser’s family. It was so beautiful to see everybody playing a huge part in the venue, and all of them really made us feel apart of it all too. The following weeks consisted of excellent communication from Fraser and Emma with updates as to how the venue was looking and recommendations of other suppliers to get booked. I can’t describe how much this communication eased my stress!! Being able to approach with anything and receive answers quickly made the whole planning experience enjoyable. This even more so when we dropped a bomb 9 months before our day. We were expecting a baby!! Days after our wedding day!! Emma and Fraser reassured us that they could work around our plan of either bringing the wedding forward or pushing it back, and we appreciated this so much!! We decided to bring it forward and had 4 months to finalize and plan everything. We were to be the second wedding they ever hosted!!!! But again, this wasnt stressful or an inconvenience to Fraser and Emma, instead they continued to support us in every single way, right up to our big day. We stayed in the amazing farmhouse for the two nights and Fraser really did make us feel apart of the family - something that was so special for me. We had puppies to cuddle on the morning of - the best way to keep the nerves down, an amazing breakfast, fresh drinks on tap .. and even a cracking steamer for the dresses (Fraser). Everything was thought of, and everything was made so special for us. Our day, did rain!!! Allllllll day! Our caterers turned up with no staff! but nothing spoilt a single thing. Umbrellas were provided, fresh logs were on the fire, drinks were flowing (including the thoughtful touch of non alcoholic pina coladas and gins for the very preggo bride) and fraser managed to pull together everybody to help our caterers serve (without us even knowing there was a problem) . Everything was utterly perfect and it truly was the best day of our lives. Fraser, Emma and the whole family - you truly are a wonderful bunch of thoughtful people who have pulled together something so magical. All your hard work and efforts will bring so many happy memories for people all over and we truly cannot Thankyou all enough. Our friends and family have not stopped speaking about ‘the best wedding ever’ and this was because of you all!! We just wish we could do it all again, but are grateful that we can relive parts of our day through the beautiful keep sakes that you sent us. Lots of love Mr & Mrs Birkett xxx

This venue is beyond amazing. The amount of work Fraser and Emma and the team have put in is incredible, going from a field to a fully functioning venue in under 12 months. It is perfection! The layout is ideal, as is the location, the finishes are just divine - the attention to detail is spot on, from the entrance to the decor to the additional touches. Fraser is really responsive on email, text etc and comes back to me quickly with answers to any ridiculous questions I come up with…! It’s like a glamorous, high-class tipi wedding venue. I can’t wait to get married here, basically!

We recently attended a beautiful wedding at this venue, the location is stunning! If we were to get married again, it’d be here. The atmosphere was so good and the craftsmanship in the tipis especially the forest bar is unreal!! They made all the chairs, tables, walkways, seating areas etc - mind blown but it shows the huge effort Fraser and Emma have put in to make this venue the very best!

I heard about Royle Forest before its opening via an Instagram advert and I’ve been living in a dream ever since! Upon first viewing the tipis were still under construction and Fraser outlined his ambitious vision for the finished venue. We booked based on Fraser’s passion and how unique the venue was - fast forward to now and the finished venue is everything we wanted and more! The recommended suppliers are wonderful and helpful, the venue itself is beautiful and unique, and Fraser and his team show a level of care and commitment I haven’t seen anywhere else. The atmosphere is truly magical. My fiancé and I cannot wait for our big day and have no doubt it will be extraordinary! - Elisabeth and Andrew

We have just been to a truly amazing wedding for Mr & Mrs Ferguson at the Royle Forest venue. It was the most amazing and magical wedding, setting and venue. We stayed in some very boutique bell tents which just added to the whole experience. My girl friend and I attend many festivals over the years and this venue manages to capture all of the magic and atmosphere we love so much about these kind of events. If you love being in nature with friends this truly intimate setting is not one to be missed! The family who ran the venue were also absolutely on the ball and fabulous! Thank you and we hope to be back again and again!!

We have just had our wedding at Royle Forest weddings and we are absolutely blown away with how incredible Fraser, Emma and his team have been with us throughout the whole process since we booked it in March. The venue is absolutely incredible. We looked at a lot of venues and this was by far the best one we have ever seen or been to..even our guests have agreed with us. We in fact originally had a venue booked but we’re so blown away with this one we cancelled our other venue!! We just want to thank Fraser and his team for their outstanding work. No job was too little or too big and they have been the most supportive people to us. Their family and the lads that work with him were always on hand to make sure that everything went perfectly even the day before the wedding. We couldn’t of asked for a better venue or team for our wedding.. thanks to them, they made it the best day of our lives. Fraser, you are so talented and you just have a gift with people. No matter what we asked for your response was.. it’s all part of the service. You have been such a kind gentleman not just to us as Groom and bride but also to all our guests as they have given us such amazing feedback on the venue and to all of you and your staff!! 1st October 2022 - ADAM & LILY OUTSTANDING! From the moment Adam and I decided to get married at Royle Forest, Fraser and Emma and the rest of the Royle Forest family went above and beyond to make sure it was the wedding of our dreams! They completely took customer service to the next level and went above and beyond in so many ways so that our wedding felt completely personal and unique to us! The dedication of the team blew us away from the start! The space that they’ve created is simply one of a kind. (Please go visit) It’s like stepping into your own personal mystical forest! It really has the WOW factor! All of our guests commented on how magical it felt! Fraser and the teams vision, creativity, work ethic and drive is truly inspirational which is why we chose the venue and the team as we knew we’d be in safe hands! They took all the stress away from planning and even when things threatened to get stressful they swooped in and problem solved (eg. fast communication over what’s app and email, contacting the council personally when we had issues with our registrar, setting up last minute decorations for us on the day that we ran out of time for the night before, contacting all of our suppliers a week before to make sure they were ready and had everything they needed to on the day… I could go on!) We truly received the Royle Treatment. The accommodation for starters! The Bears Lair and the Farm house are just gorgeous (the hand painted murals are breathtaking!) and made for an incredible unique stay the night before and after the wedding (the 8 seater mother of all hotubs, the jacuzzi bath, make up stations, Nespresso coffee machines, enormous luxurious beds, fire pits….I could go on) On the day we arrived we noticed that our names were hand carved into the sign welcoming people to the venue 🤯, the morning and the morning after the wedding Fraser came along to personally give us breakfast, he personally drove the bridal party to the venue, he personally was on hand during the reception to make sure the bride and groom had drinks and canapés (as he knew that the excitement of the day and photos etc could mean we’d miss out) he also took some gorgeous photos of us on the day from the DJ booth and he said “that was the best view” Lastly on the day we left Fraser presented us with a hand made keepsake box with our names and anniversary date on. If that wasn’t enough Inside were a pair of branded champagne glasses and other gorgeous Luxury gifts for us newly weds to enjoy. If you’re looking for a unique woodland venue where the entire team are passionate about what they do and are dedicated to you and your special day look no further! An absolutely beautiful, magical, woodland fairytale! Lots of cozy spots, a bonfire, stunning nature all around with amazing staff! The venue managed to make our wedding feel so secluded and exclusive, which made for a very special atmosphere! The Tipi is also waterproof which took away so much of our pre-wedding fears. Cannot recommend enough and I hope we can return back soon.
