Saltmarshe Hall

The staff are incredible at the hall! They go above and beyond for you nothing is too much and they work behind the scenes to make your day perfect for you! We were suprised that we chose saltmarshe hall as our wedding venue as we weren’t looking at a stately home however the grounds are to die for they are beautiful especially in summer and the feel we got for the place just made us fall in love! So glad we booked with them for our wedding in August 2024 because the day was so relaxing and we could just take it all in and enjoy time with our loved ones as the staff did everything else!

From the get-go we knew we loved Saltmarshe Hall. We had been viewing other venues but none of them ticked the boxes like this one, even boxes we didn't know we had! It has beautiful grounds, a fabulous mix of contemporary and classic decor and a vast array of period features to centre photographs around, including the walled gardens, Lime Tree Ave. and that incredible curving staircase in the atrium. Amy couldn't do enough for us and was with us through every step of the planning, the meal choices and table plan, the taster evening and making time for our check-ins during the lead up to the event. She spent the whole two days corralling wayward guests and organising our outside suppliers, ensuring both myself and my new bride had everything we could possibly need, usually before we even asked for it. All the staff were wonderful, exceeding all possible expectations. The pool party and barbeque the day before were lovely and the cooked breakfast really set myself and the guests up for the big day in the morning (bride had delicious fruit and pastries in the bridal suite whilst getting ready with the bridal party). All the food was exceptional, far exceeding our expectations of wedding catering from previous experience as wedding guests, the three choices presenting excellent value for money (definitely go for that!). The canapes were delicious and a selection was brought to us separately, allowing us a quiet few minutes away from the hustle and bustle together before the next round of photographs. Everything ran so smoothly and we just went with the flow, our trust in the staff and venue well-rewarded. It's true what married folks tell you: it goes so fast after so much planning: it really is over in a heartbeat, but I wouldn't change a thing about it, even the hour of rain we had in the evening reception didn't dampen any spirits, as the venue had ample space inside, and the covered patio was heated and comfortable. We honestly can't recommend this venue highly enough. You may find something cheaper in your search but cheap doesn't always mean value for money. You will have peace of mind with a booking at Saltmarshe Hall, and for the most important day of your life you need all the support you can get so that you can focus on simply enjoying yourselves and spending time with the people you love.

The biggest compliment I think we can give you is that you made us feel like the first & last wedding you'd have. Like we were all that mattered even though you probably have 2 or 3 + per week. Thank you for making our special day your special day (Thank you also to your staff). It was the most amazing 36 hours of our lives & we just want to do it all over again. It feels surreal to know we won't be chatting to plan our big day with you any longer but anyone else is lucky to be in that position

Saltmarshe Hall was the 3rd and last wedding venue we viewed. When you know, you know! After viewing Saltmarshe Hall, we instantly knew that this was going to be our venue. Not only is it the most stunning venue, it also has the most amazing team! From the moment we enquired, through to the end of our wedding day; Ashleigh, Amy and the whole team went the extra mile to ensure that we had the wedding of our dreams! No ask was ever too big and every little detail was cared for

Our wedding day was more than we could have ever dreamed of. It was an experience that we, along with our friends and family, will cherish for a lifetime. From our first tour, we knew Saltmarshe Hall was the perfect place for both our ceremony and reception. The grounds are beautiful and the venue is tucked away in a peaceful, secluded setting that immediately captured our hearts. Throughout the planning process, Ashleigh and the team were outstanding, making everything feel effortless. They helped us at every step of the way, answering all our questions and ensuring no detail was overlooked. On our wedding day, we were able to completely relax as the team handled coordination with our vendors and setting up our decorations. Seeing our ceremony space for the first time took my breath away, and I was moved to tears when we saw our wedding breakfast table – it was beyond perfect. If you're keen on having amazing food at your wedding, Saltmarshe Hall is the place to be. We requested a fully vegan menu, and the chef exceeded all our expectations. The food was phenomenal, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! Saltmarshe Hall made our day truly unforgettable, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their incredible hospitality and attention to detail. Everything ran so perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better co-ordinator and we cannot thank you enough! We had the best day ever, loved every second of it (once I got past the nerves haha). So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and that the day, food, drinks and service etc was absolutely amazing. Please pass on thanks to everyone else involved in running the day too, the chef, the waiting staff etc.

The day was perfect it was the perfect romantic British summer wedding we dreamed of, we got married in the walled garden in what felt like a fairy-tale or was something out of Bridgeton. In the evening it was the party vibe we wanted & we were glad to party with the staff as well as the guests who felt more like life long friends. Not a detail was missed & everything was perfectly laid out just as we had imagined. It didn’t feel real most of the day.

Our perfect day, I’ll never be able to thank the whole team at Saltmarshe enough for making our day so special. Especially Amy she couldn’t do enough for us from start to finish it was all so perfect, we can’t wait to come back thank you!

I had so many random questions, every doubt I had, she had an answer to & told me not to worry. When I say they took care of everything, they really did. My perfect day came to life, I absolutely couldn’t have wished for a more perfect setting for my perfect day. The staff are next level. The fact the waiting staff came & danced with us was everything and having the BEST time whilst simply doing their job! Amy went above and beyond for me.
