Even though our wedding was small and intimate. From the first visit to the wedding day every aspect was catered for with care and professionalism. Our 4 golden retrievers were included in the ceremony. Nothing was a problem to them and they made our special day even better than we could have dreamed in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel. Every guest commented on the quality of the staff and venue.

We got married at the Strathaven Hotel on the 28th December 2023. To say it was an amazing day was an understatement. Naturally we ere nervous about the organisation of it; however, we shouldn't have been. Morgan and all the staff at the hotel were an amazing support in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. Morgan guided and advised us really well in the months before the wedding, and on the day of the wedding all of the events staff were outstanding.

We got married at the hotel in May and every single step from our first visit to the day itself was made so easy and joyful by the wonderful team at the hotel. We had a vision for a chill, evening wedding and they completely understood what we were going for. Even when we made a last minute schedule change on the day they were so relaxed and organised you'd have thought it was the plan all along. Morgan, Jen and the rest of the team were an absolute dream and we'd change absolutely nothing about the wonderful celebration they helped us achieve - truly cannot recommend them highly enough!

The Strathaven Hotel - Get it booked! From the first meeting to the day following our wedding nothing was an issue or a bother for the wonderful wedding team. Morgan in particular went above and beyond for us. Whenever we went back with any questions/queries/requests they were all accommodated. The day of our wedding went without any issues and we couldn’t have asked for a better day, all of our guests complimented how well the day ran and how helpful and welcoming all the staff were at the hotel. If you are wondering whether to book or not - then definitely do it! You will get the five star treatment from beginning to end and even the weeks after.

Having our wedding at the Strathaven Hotel was a brilliant decision.. From the moment we began planning from overseas, the staff made everything so smooth and stress-free. They were incredibly organised, warm, and made us and our family feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process.

We had the absolute best time from start to end working with Strathaven Hotel for our wedding. There was never a question too silly and they were absolutely thrilled to help you with whatever you wanted. The venue itself is beautiful - neutral decor to suit any taste. The planning was so straight forward thanks to the lovely Morgan and the team. The actual wedding day was an absolute dream and we didn't have to think about anything. What can we say. Strathaven Hotel was everything we wanted and more for our day! The hotel is stunning and the neutral colours throughout makes it perfect for any colour scheme. It's also dog friendly which was so important to us. Gillian and Morgan were literal angels. Their communication was fantastic and had regular meetings with us to go through every aspect of our day. They really put our minds at ease about not missing anything in our planning and they looked after us so well on the day. Nothing was ever a bother and everything ran so smoothly. Thank you so much!

From the moment we came to view the Strathaven Hotel as a possible venue, right up to the big day itself, the staff were nothing short of amazing. We must give a huge shout out to Morgan and Gill, who made us feel like there was no question that couldn't be answered and no vision we couldn't make happen. Whether it was a phone call or email with a question or request, to appearing at the hotel with a measuring tape or to show our families the venue we'd chosen.... we had their full support and they always welcomed us with smiles on their faces. We really felt like they truly wanted this day to be magical for us. As a surprise for my husband on the day, I arranged for 3 alpacas to join us all after the ceremony. This little secret was kept safe and with the help of everyone at the hotel was a complete success! On the day everyone was so attentive, making sure our friends and family felt very well taken care of. Our guests continue to comment on how friendly everyone was and how smoothly everything ran. We can't thank you enough for making our vision come to life and helping us make the day so special. We will remember 29th June 2023 forever ♥️

Morgan was excellent in supporting us in the planning of our wedding. She accomodated our wishes and gave us suggestions on areas we hadn't even thought of. On the day the team were amazing. They were so attentive and made our day run so smoothly. Our guests have been so complimentary of the hotel and the staff afterwards. There is nothing we would have done differently. Best day ever!
