The Bedford Hotel

The Bedford was the perfect wedding venue. Kay, Kirsty, Dylan and the team could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much to ask, they went above and beyond offered to support us in ways we could not even imagine needing. For example holding a brolly and walking with us to the church and waiting outside at the end of the ceremony to keep us dry on the way back. The food was hot and phenomenal and exactly like our wedding tasting, very impressive on such big scale. We had so many compliments about the food from our guests and it even had a mention in the guest book as the best wedding food they had ever had. The evening West Country boards were so impressive not only because they took 4 people to carry but show casing local produce which was great for family and friends who had traveled from afar. Kay’s communication from our first enquiry throughout the planning process and on the day its self was so prompt which was hugely helpful and appreciated she helped our wedding dreams come to reality. We will be forever thankful to the Bedford for making our wedding day so special it really felt like a home from home during our wedding celebrations.

The Bedford helped us to deliver a day to remember. Throughout the process they were supportive and understanding. A great experience surrounded by a lovely location and amazing food.

We were married in the Woburn room on Friday the 12th of July. From start to finish the staff at the Bedford were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was exceptional (we had an afternoon high tea rather than a sit down meal), and there was plenty of it, as was the evening buffet. We have spent many an afternoon there sampling their cream teas and having delicious lunches, this all helped to make us feel at home there on our day. We would highly recommend The Bedford Hotel for weddings and any event you may have. Outstanding quality and fantastic helpful staff.

We are so pleased that we chose the Bedford for our wedding, the hotel and gardens are beautiful and very picturesque. The booking was easy and the wedding team were supportive and attentive prior to and throughout the day. The hotel ensured our day went as smoothly as possible and did everything they could to accommodate all of our needs.

From start to finish Hannah and Kay were amazing. We had regular meetings with them and they always responded quickly to any requests or query’s. Hannah went above and beyond to make our day magical. The Tavistock room is amazing for an intimate winter wedding. Dylan the general manager was great on the day as were his staff. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

It was the best day and stay we have ever had, the food was sublime as were the staff. I did inform the manager of how successful and wonderful our day was. Other members of our party have recommended your lovely hotel too. We will be formally sending an email personally thanking all members of your staff at the Bedford Hotel. 

We couldn’t have opted for a better place to get married, from the first time we went to look at the venue all the way up to our wedding the staff were absolutely incredible. I would especially like to thank Hannah it was a pleasure to have her as our wedding organiser she helped us day and night from the very start and I would just like to say a huge thank you to her. The venue was amazing, wonderful, beautiful, idyllic, and just simply amazing. I would highly recommend for your wedding.

My now husband and I had such a beautiful wedding day at the Bedford Hotel, the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us, the day went much much better than I ever could have expected it to go, there were no dramas and everything ran smoothly and on time. We had our ceremony in the Tavistock room, and wow what a set up, canapés and drinks in the beautiful setting of the walled garden and whilst that was going on they set the Tavistock room up for the wedding breakfast. When my husband and I saw the room set up we both almost cried as it was absolutely beautiful ❤️. The evening room also looked stunning. The food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this venue. All the staff there are absolutely amazing. Thank you so much to Kay, Hannah and Dylan especially ❤️❤️
