The Boat House at Aston Marina

We could not recommend this venue highly enough! The team at Aston Mariana worked so hard to make sure that we had the most incredible day. From when we first visited on an open day, through to the minute we left the venue after the wedding, we were so well looked after and had every question and query answered to. They helped us put our vision together, and made sure that all of the suppliers were seen to so that we could focus on enjoying our big day. All of our guests said how impressed they were with both the venue and the staff. The food was amazing and everything ran so slick. We are so happy we chose this venue to enable us to have the most perfect day ever 🥰💍❤️

Wow, I don’t even know when to begin! What an amazing venue. Abby was absolutely amazing from the day we fell in love with and booked the venue. Our wedding day was above and beyond what we could have ever expected and this was down to the amazing staff and their incredible support not just on the day, but even in the buildup! They did everything that we could have asked for and more. The food, the venue, the atmosphere- everything was absolutely perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and they made sure that our day was nothing less than perfect, they really all went above and beyond for us! Don’t think we could ever thank you enough for making our day better than we could have ever imagined. The food was incredible, every one of our guests commented about how gorgeous our day was but the main conversation was the food! We would recommend the Boat House to anyone - if we could do the whole day again, we’d be back tomorrow. Thank you all so much. Mr & Mrs Pickthorne xx

Where do I start with the boathouse?! We have taken so long to review purely because we simply can’t put it into words how unbelievably perfect our day was and don’t even know where to start with a review!! We got married on the 19th May, one of the best days in May for weather so we cannot complain one bit! 😜 We cannot thank the staff enough for their support for the year and half build up to the wedding, nothing was too much of an ask and nothing was a silly question or suggestion. You know when you pay for something and basically once you’ve paid, that’s it with the good service? Not at the boathouse that’s for sure!!! They go above and over with EVERYTHING they do and on the day, they were always one step ahead of us with making sure everything just ran so perfectly as it did! Everything felt so organised leading up to it and we didn’t have to worry about a thing! We had Beckie doing most of our organising and she is just so perfect at her job, and the most kind, wonderful person we have ever met! Beckie and Alex were on hand the morning/day of the wedding ensuring everything was as perfect as we’d ever dreamt it to be - and helped keep me calm 🤣 All the staff there are amazing and especially on the day when Ash was on hand to help with literally anything I needed, from grabbing a half eaten icecream off me, to pinning up my dress despite the difficulties of it 🤣 Her and Lauren was always making sure everything felt relaxed and perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anymore! Even stayed with us until we got into the taxi safely and that meant so much to us! We could go on for days talking about the staff and how unreal our day was. Everyone said how AMAZING the food was, even the photographer who’s tried loads of venue food!! And we even had people comment and ask where we found such incredible staff, so nothing went unnoticed. Omg where do I start!! You guys have been fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for more from your team, they were amazing!! Everyone said how amazing the staff were! Nothing was to much for them and they helped with so much! Honestly thank you so so so much! We had the most amazing time!!

Cannot thank The Boat House at Aston Marina Wedding & Events Venue enough for making our perfect day happen! The day was everything and more I could have ever wished for. Nothing was ever too much trouble and cannot fault the staff and service one little bit. Rebecca and Paige were fantastic from the minute we booked until the day after the wedding when they helped make sure our belongings were safe. Communication and the help they offered was fantastic throughout. Both ladies were great in the morning before the ceremony in helping with the flow of everything all the way through until the end. Could not recommend this venue and the staff enough. Food was exceptional as well as the service throughout. Other suppliers such as Vintage avenue Dressers and Bib and Tucker were also fantastic and made our day. Nothing was ever too much trouble for either suppliers, Vintage helped create the look we’d always imagined for our wedding and smashed it out the park! We also had numerous comments made regarding Dan and Molly from Bib and Tucker as to how comfortable they made people feel and made it so relaxing for all, giving us a small preview just days after the wedding. We recently got married at Aston Marina and from the second we enquired the service was incredible. We dealt with Beckie for all of our booking and organising and she was incredible. Nothing was too much effort and she even helped us with smaller details we maybe weren’t sure on. She took in every little detail we wanted and she was nothing but accommodating if we changed our minds. When setting up and on the day we dealt with Paige who was equally as wonderful. Once again nothing was too much detail and she continued to check in with us through out the day. The organising of our wedding day and the day itself was perfect from start to finish and a very large part of that was due to the whole team at the Boat House. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us.

We got married at the Boat House on June 16th and there are not enough words to describe how perfect the day was. From the start Beckie was so helpful making sure everything was explained to us and ran smoothly. Then on the day all the staff were super friendly and helpful. All our guested praised them for such a well run day. As for the venue itself, it's beautiful. There are so many lovely places to take photos and plenty of room for lots of guests. My bridesmaids and I had a lovely room to get ready in.

The team at Aston Marina were absolutely fantastic and made our big day absolutely perfect. They were so accommodating, they were able to let us personalise our menu, sorted breakfast for the bridal party as they were getting prepped in their bridal prep room, prepared a custom cocktail for us on our request as well as anything else we asked really. The food was unbelievable and they were brilliant in catering for our vegan guests as well as any allergies. Our vegan guests said they have never been catered for so well anywhere they have gone. The venue is absolutely beautiful, we were able to have our ceremony outside in the gorgeous grounds. The indoor area is amazing too with plenty of space to comfortably sit the 70+ guests we had for the wedding breakfast as well as an additional 15 for the evening. The team were so helpful allowing us to drop decorations off early and going through any questions. And letting us view the venue in the lead up to the wedding. All in all it is the perfect wedding venue.

The venue was stunning it was everything we wanted, lots of guests commented on how beautiful your venue is and how fantastic your staff were. Rebecca- Unfortunately you were unable to be their on our special day but we would like to thank you for making this happen , your communication with us before the big day has been spot on, we have had no worries regarding planning the day as each time we met you reassured us. Thank you 😊 Paige - you are such a beautiful person inside and out 🥰 you made our day so special, calm and stress free. You were a star in the morning making sure everyone was ok especially Duncan when his nerves kicked in. Couples in the future will be so lucky to have you by their side. Thank you for being you 🥰 Alex- Thank you so much for making our evening stress free, fun, exciting and keeping on top of all the decor.. candles were always full, sweets filled, communication with myself through the night was great and being so flexible. Guests have highly enjoyed their experience at Aston Marina and so did we. You three and other staff especially the chef made our wedding day a day we will treasure forever so thank you all 😊.
