The Green House

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the staff at The Green House for making our wedding day so special. The venue was amazing and the food was delicious. The day went exactly as we wanted it to. Thank you so much for all your efforts.

Wow where do we start!! Thank you all for your help in coordinating and organising our fabulous wedding day last week. It truly was the most perfect day and you made everything run so smoothly and efficiently-we are so grateful. You were both so friendly and integrated well with our guests which was such a great touch. You put us both at ease and the buttonholes all stayed in place for the whole day so thank you!

Recently had our wedding reception in the function room and had a fantastic experience. Upon booking and leading up to the event, Sophie and Sophie May were very responsive on our numerous queries, and constantly checked in with us to see if we needed anything, which gratefully put us at ease. All the staff on the day were fantastic and very attentive, going above to make the day special for us. The food was incredible and had every guest commenting on how nice it was.

The hotel went above and beyond for our wedding. We got married in May 2021 when the government had a lot of restrictions still in place regarding covid. Sophie and the team worked extremely hard to try and make sure the day could be as enjoyable as possible. This included allowing us to host the evening reception with our 30 guests outside. This allowed everyone a chance to be socially distant but with a chance to play a few outdoor games and feel less awkward re keeping our distance. The team worked really hard to get back in the swing of things especially with this being one of their first weddings after lockdown. Thank you Green House hotel

We had the most amazing wedding at The Green House. Everything was perfect! Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was immaculate, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was outstanding. All our guests commented on the venue, I would highly recommend.

The Green House Hotel is an absolutely wonderful venue, I have been photographing weddings at the venue now for about 8 years. Sophie and her team go above and beyond for their couples, the day always runs so smoothly and the atmosphere has always been (the numerous times I've been) there fantastic! The venue is perfect if you wish to get ready there, it has plenty of places for getting ready photos and a great lawn at the front perfect for photos of people/ wedding cars arriving to the venue. The ceremony room is great for photos, as it is so bright and has great decoration. After the ceremony the venue is perfectly located for photos on the lawn and also a quick walk down to the beach....which makes for stunning photos any time of the year :) There is also a lovely balcony and stairs at the front of the hotel for photos. The downstairs function room is perfect for evening celebrations, it has a private intimate feeling to it, and access straight outside to a lovely outside seating area with little fairy lights. I can also vouch for the food!! I've been lucky to have tasted many different dishes, all have been incredible and the presentation is wonderful! A great venue, many locals to the area are unaware of this venue as it's nicely tucked away but also right next to town and the beach. I've also had the pleasure of photographing couples that actually live in a different part of England but have wished to get married next to the sea.......and they have been made up with the location and the high quality service of the hotel. Wonderful location, wonderful hotel, wonderful staff....perfect place for weddings x

Was an amazing day from start to finish. Everything went well and flowed beautifully. The staff were very helpful and attentive prior to the day and on the day. It was a very warm and friendly environment almost like we were getting married at home!

We had the most amazing wedding day! From start to finish the day was brilliant and the team were all fantastic and very accommodating. From beginning planning, all of our ideas were heard and any changed we wanted to make were accommodated. Simply incredible and would highly recommend for a fun memory filled wedding day.

Absolutely loved the venue and the staff were excellent. It's such a beautiful venue and my wedding photos look gorgeous. They let my florist have free reign in the main room, and she did a great job too. The wedding coordinator was so helpful with organising the event, particularly the food. I have Coeliac disease and they had so many options to create a lovely wedding breakfast and evening menu. My only downsides were: - The high price of the rooms to stay, considering we were the bridal party and had already paid for the wedding package & room, thought it would be discounted more. That was an unforseen cost considering I wanted to stay overnight with the bridemaids and my mum. -The sound system in the downstairs evening room. We were told very last minute that their speakers were not loud enough to carry over the 80+ guests and unfortunately we didn't have the time or allocated funds to source a speaker for the room. I would recommend the venue 100% and outside photos are a must.

An amazing experience at the Green House from start to finish. Wedding co ordinators were always on the end of the phone when we needed them. Also on the day, whatever we needed they were there, whether it was advice or a helping hand. THE most amazing day from start to finish!
