The Priests House

We were blown away with the venue when we had a virtual tour via zoom during covid times, and loved it even more when we saw it in real life. All the team were super helpful especially Conor who ensured our day ran smoothly and kept the groom calm. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had an amazing day. With a young family the barn worked perfectly for us as a base and to continue the celebrations after the wedding. Couldn’t speak highly enough of the venue and team and have already recommended the venue to friends who are booked in for next year. Thank you everyone. Hello Connor (Steve, Donna and all lovely staff) We just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your hard work and making our day very special. The food was fabulous, we had a lot of guests commenting on the food. The presentation of the cake and dessert table was quite amazing. The Chapel looked fabulous and all of you were so very attentive and couldn't have done more. It was an absolutely amazing day. They catered not only for an outstanding venue and location but the flowers too. I adored the bouquets, the font and all the decor provided. The colours in the flowers were perfect I couldn’t have chosen anything better. Food (also provided by The priests House) was gorgeous and plentiful!! From the first day we came to visit we felt comfortable, welcomed not pushed or sold anything totally at ease. Communication up to the wedding was great and the day ran perfectly. No words really do our day justice but perfect venue, perfect decor, tasty food, great staff all made an amazing day that even a few rain showers couldn’t spoil.

Me and my husband got married in October this year at The Priests House, Barden Tower and we could not have wished for a more perfect venue! From start to finish, it was a very relaxed experience and we feel it was such a smooth and enjoyable process to get everything organised and into place. Every question was answered promptly and they were so accommodating if we had to change anything last minute. The venue looked absolutely stunning inside and out, the little touches to detail just made it all come to life. We are so grateful for how attentive all the staff members were on our day and to the run up to our wedding, they made us feel so special and looked after. Our flowers were done by one of the owners and they were absolutely gorgeous! Knowing that they were grown on her own allotment made it even more special. The food, from the canapes to the reception dinner and evening hog roast, was truly delicious and we certainly did not go hungry! Great portion sizes and quality food. We still maintain it is the best roast beef we have ever eaten! We would highly recommend the Priests House for a wedding celebration to anyone! All the staff are wonderful, extremely friendly and welcoming and the whole experience felt so personal and tailored to suit us and our needs. We can't thank them enough for making our wedding day such a beautiful, happy and memorable experience.

When looking for wedding venues The Priest House instantly caught my eye. As soon as we went to view it we knew it was the venue for us. From the very start until the very end Steve was on the ball with all correspondence. The day ran perfect, we wouldn’t have changed anything. Steve- thank you for all of your help. Mark- thank you for the lovely food. Conor- thank you for making our day run perfect. Debbie- thank you for the most beautiful flowers. Kat- thank you for helping to keep me calm and composed. Bar staff- thank you for been so lovely, smiley and chatty. You are all amazing at what you do and we will be forever grateful for all of your hard work. Without a doubt would recommend the Priests House. The venue, location, the bunk barn which was prefect for guests. It has everything. Thank you again Priests House. Keep doing want your doing.

Hi everyone I know you could tell we were mega happy on the day but I would like to follow it up once again and say the biggest thanks to you, Steve and your team. Conor - you are the best coordinator out there, everyone loved your character I believe you were even invite over the family dinner for xmas :D! Everything was run so smoothly through the day, made us feel so so relaxed - THANK YOU Debbie - your flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous, the big bouquet near the piano was one of my favorites! Now when our wedding is over - you definitely have to charge people more for flowers! They are amazing and you brought my request into life perfectly - THANK YOU Your team on the day - absolutely lovely bunch, so chatty and supportive, made us feel like home so please pass them our thank you as well. All decorations and food were incredible. The atmosphere was so relaxed and felt like home to us! Best day ever thanks to you :) Food was mega delicious, arancini were fire!! Sorry if we missed something but absolutely everything was perfect and guests were impressed by your venue!!

From start to finish, the team here was amazing. We had a very small wedding - 11 guests - and our day was exactly the relaxed, intimate, magical day we had hoped for. The flowers were incredible, the venue dressed perfectly, the food delicious, and Connor and Kat made the wedding run so smoothly we can't thank them enough. I still feel tearful thinking about how perfect it was and how I'd like to go back and experience it all again!

We could not recommend this venue more. The Team are so welcoming and helpful from planning the day to the day itself. So many of our guests commented on how perfect the venue was. We also had a few people say it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We had a number of dietary requirements and every guest was catered for to a high level. The Team were so experienced and helpful. We’d like to give a special mention to Connor who made lots of effort with our guests and really looked after them! Cat also went above and beyond, even sorting our bouquets when we had forgotten! We didn’t provide much instruction on the table arrangements and they were stunning. The Team definitely know how to dress the venue and we’re so glad we left it to the experts. It was better than we ever imagined!

We recently had our wedding at the Priests House and it was absolutely fabulous. They were kind enough to let us move the date 3 times due to COVID and were always friendly and helpful during the planning. The venue is so beautiful and perfect for an intimate wedding in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. Debbie prepared such lovely flowers that were just as we had asked for. On the day Conor and his team were absolutely terrific and went above and beyond to make sure the day was everything we could have hoped for. We highly recommend the Priests House for a wedding venue!
