Designed for fun and freedom, this picturesque hotel has been recently restored to offer personal and intimate areas for your special day. The hotel is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and has the capacity to hold 140 guests for a daytime reception and 200 for the evening. The Wedding Team will guide you through the whole process, offering help and advice where needed to ensure all details are taken care of, so you can relax and enjoy your day. The Swan provides an accessible location, just 40 minutes from London, 15 minutes from Reading, and within an easy reach of the M4 and the A34. There is also 100 complimentary parking spaces plus an overflow paddock to prevent any parking issues.

Our happily ever after

A huge thank you goes to ALL the staff at the Swan at Streatley. We got married here last week and it was truly the best day of our lives! The river views with this venue are beautiful and we were so lucky the sun was shining all day! The hotel is gorgeous and the reception staff were so lovely and accommodating. The events team are amazing! Nothing was ever too much of an ask. A huge thank you to Imy and Charlie who helped us plan our day from the very beginning and another huge thank you to Hennes and Laura who ensured our day ran smoothly and exactly how we wanted it to! The catering and bar staff are all so friendly and welcoming too! We cannot wait to return to the Swan which now holds so many incredible memories for us!

We had a truly magical day, thank you so much for all your help right from the start. Honestly, the team at Streatley are fabulous, everything went exactly as planned - right down to the surprise of the singing waiter!Everyone was amazing and super friendly and helpful.We were both quite sad when it was all over, we would have loved to do it all over again.All of our guests raved about the entire event.The ceremony was just magical, the food was perfect and the drinks reception was wonderful.

best day of our lives

It really was the best day of our lives and everything we had dreamed of - even the weather was on our side which I'm sure has made the photos perfect! Everything ran to time which was brilliant!Our guests commented on how seamlessly the staff at the Swan provided the canapés and the dinner services, almost as if they weren't there which was the biggest compliment I think we can give as the food was incredible and everybody was catered for perfectly. Our guests were so impressed with the venue.
