Describe the best wedding that happened at Windsor & Maidenhead Boat Company?
We have had some beautiful weddings on board. I would have to say our best has presently been exceeded by the now, Mr and Mrs Evens. They are indeed a wonderful couple. Some excellent little touches made the Georgian feel at her very best.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Wedding planning can become very stressful with lots of different things to consider, and you may even feel like the day begins to get hijacked but remember why your doing it. It's a celebration of the love you share, so make that the focus. Find the little touches that will be the parts that are remembered and create the wedding unique to you. You can email me with any questions, queries or requirements, and I will do my best to help in any way.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The personal touches are exactly that - personal. They all have a story and a reason for being there, which are generally always heartfelt. I think the little Lego chef! has to be my favourite personal touch I have seen. Definitely one to ask me about as this section is not big enough.

Where’s the best photo spot at Windsor & Maidenhead Boat Company?
Ether the group shot at the back of the boat as we turn in Windsor or just the happy couple on the aft deck by the red Ensign.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Windsor & Maidenhead Boat Company?
I would hate to name drop, and without being too cliche, I think the happy couple is always our celebrities on the day. That being said, Alan Titchmarsh was one ill always remember. He was very polite.
What’s your favourite canapé?
To make, I would say the BBQ pork belly as it's very simple and we get the trimmings. However, to eat, would have to be the Boursin and Grape. It packs lots of flavours and is very refreshing.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Got to be a cup of tea with my wife. It can be very late or early getting back from working an event but on those rare occasions when we are both awake, a cup of tea and a catch up with her is something I cherish.
What is Windsor & Maidenhead Boat Company most unique feature?
Toilets - you may not have been expected that but it's because on a boat they can be terrible but we pride ourselves on having clean, real, normal toilets.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
My team's passion. They will always give their all, go the extra mile and dig deep to make it all work. Events are hard, and weddings are the pinnacle, get it wrong and that's someones big day ruined because of you! We work hard to make sure that does not happen.
