Authentic Wedding Films

My love of videography began when my children were born. (Emily in 1995 and Michael in 1996) I got myself a little video Hi 8 VHS camera and recorded everything they achieved. Their first crawl, first steps, first words, riding a bike without stabilisers. I filmed every Christmas and Holiday and invested in my first non-liner editing in 1996. My aim was to produce family videos and tell stories, using all footage and music. I loved producing these little films and led to joining a film-making club, where we produced short films. I even had the pleasure to work with some great actors and talented people. At the time never dreamed it would lead to me having a video production company and filming weddings. It is not my job; it is my passion. I know this sounds pretentious. But it is the truth. For me, every wedding is something I cherish and absolutely put all my heart and soul into. Over the years, I have seen styles come and go. The one thing I have always avoided is passing trends, which can look dated in a few years’ time. Having crafted my skills with years of experience, making award winning short films and working with talented musicians, actors and directors on the way, my approach is to create something timeless, classic and of real substance. I also don’t turn up at your wedding like a Hollywood production team: I like to keep it unobtrusive and low key, ensuring all the footage I capture is as natural as possible. My aim is to capture the intrinsic nature of your relationship, encapsulating your personalities, the vibe of your wedding day and of course, the important moments of emotion. I see videography as a creative process and my work is inspired by talented, creative artists in the fields of art, music, and cinematography: Jack Vettriano, Fabian Perez for their amazing art, Paul Weller to Ennio Morricone for their music and film scores. Giuseppe Tornatore who directed Cinema Paradiso, to the extreme Stanley Kubrick.
