Ballroom The Ballroom is the hotel’s largest meeting space at 1,800 square feet. Located just off the Lobby and entered on either side of the Capital’s grand staircase it is ideal for social gatherings. It’s also a perfect square, rarely found yet ideal for upscale conferences that prefer a hollow square arrangement. Brooks & Baxter Brooks and Baxter stand as mirror images of one another (unlike their namesakes), bookending the hotel’s majestic mezzanine and each offering 1,500 feet. In combination these rooms are ideal for a meeting and lunch or a reception and dinner each seating up to one hundred in a meal configuration. The mezzanine and balcony which separate the two are the perfect place to informally convene pre or post event. On occasion the entire area, then called Watkins, can also be reserved. Cherokee & Quapaw Located on the ground level and joined by an intimate foyer, Cherokee and Quapaw are the hotel’s most popular meeting/dining rooms. Used separately the rooms are ideal for smaller meetings, the Quapaw being the larger of the two with over twice the square footage at 750. Used together this area can serve a reception for 75 and a dinner for 50.
