Hotel AKA NoMad

I stumbled upon this hotel after 200 flights were canceled at JFK and they were the only location within an hour of the airport with a room. To my pleasant surprise, this is a gorgeous hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. I ended up with a suite, which was spacious and luxuriously comfortable. Wonderful hotel in every way: clean, updated, elegant, friendly efficient service, convenient location, and comfortable room, especially the mattress. Having requested a room on a higher floor, and figuring that mentioning my 60th birthday might help, we were upgraded to a balcony room with views of the Empire State Building, and greeted by a cake, flowers, and a personalized card. Great hotel! Rooms are unique! We had a great view of the Empire State Building from our balcony. We went to their bar in the lobby for a late afternoon snack and drink. The expresso martinis are delicious. Food was good. Then coming back late from our night out the overnight doorman and front desk manager were great!! Definitely will stay here again!!!

The staff was so kind. The rooms we're well appointed. comfy beds. Would recommend for couples trying to get away.

We came here on our honeymoon over new year 2017. The place is fantastic with amazing staff. It's a very cosy, friendly environment and when it's cold out they put warm apple cider in the lobby for guests to drink whilst warming up in the lounge. My wife and I loved the Roger and plan to return next year for a vacation!
